The Aria DM-380 Guitar

In 1968 Aria introduced this guitar (first called the 1532T) and it quickly became a favorite instrument among players in the blossoming music scene of the time. In 2010 Aria re-issued the guitar, now called the Retro-1532, and its appeal has not waned in the least. With a tone and look that is truly vintage, the Retro-1532 benefits from Aria's 50-plus years of guitar building experience. Far out, man!

The DM-380 features:

  • A cool, retro alder body
  • A bolt-on maple neck
  • A rosewood fingerboard with classic dot inlays
  • 24 3/4" scale length
  • 21 frets
  • Two Mings VLS, half-covered single coil pickups
  • Controls: One volume knob, one tone knob and a 3-way pickup selector switch
  • A vintage tremolo
  • Chrome hardware
  • Three-Tone Sunburst gloss finish
